What is a Pediatric Dentist?
Just like family and general dentists, our pediatric dentist, Dr. Kherani, completed four years of dental school. This was followed by two years of residency dental training to help her better meet the needs of younger patients, such as frightened toddlers and fidgety teens. In addition to her ability to deliver specialized services for the very young, Dr. Kherani can help your teens understand the importance of maintaining adult teeth through a healthy diet and good dental habits. She’s always willing to discuss topics like oral piercings, wisdom teeth, the use of tobacco (smoked or chewed), and other issues unique to teens.
